Anthroposophy a way to reach out self knowledge

Hey people :)
How are things?
Have you already heard of Anthroposophy??? Or The Calendar of the Soul??? Or Rudolf Steiner??? I had not heard until the other day while I was searching for how to produce food organically. I met a group of farmers that grow vegetables and fruits using not only the organic system but also applying the fundamentals of anthroposophy into agriculture. This intriguing concept caught my attention and ever since I have started reading about it.

Anthroposophy, a philosophy developed by an Austrian Philosopher called Rudolf Steiner, claims the existence of a powerful  spiritual world that is accessible to anyone and it is known to have a strong influence in our lives. Besides the agriculture field, where it is believed that the forces of the whole cosmos have a crucial role in the process of growing plants and raising animals, anthroposophical ideas have been applied in many other areas like, for instance, education, medicine, and art.

According to Rudolf Steiner, the reality is essentially spiritual. Through anthroposophy, we can unravel the mysteries of the existence as long as we keep ourselves connected with the unseen world. Anthroposophy is a way to find out the truth (in which every live being represents an essential role to the unfolding of life) and  hence overcome the material world which is completely uncommitted and disconnected with the real meaning of life.

Rudolf Steiner, strongly believing in this spiritual connectedness between the individual self and the universe self, wrote "The Calendar of the Soul" which can be used to tread a path of self-knowledge and inner development. It is believed that the unfolding of the year has its own life, and if the human soul lets itself be open to feel its different vibrations and energies, it will eventually realize the awakening of inner forces that will allow the soul to take part in unwinding the universe life and vice-versa.

At first sight, anthroposophy may seem complex and unrealistic, but within a few minutes over it or in a matter of some read pages, things start making sense. Or, better than this, it brings sense into life.

Life becomes more comforting when we realize that each of us has a unique role in the evolving of the Universe. Like Steiner says "Without the human souls participation, the world would only meet empty life and thus death in itself. Only in souls, can the world create itself".

Therefore, if you are looking for purpose and meaning in your life, The Calendar of the Soul can be an exciting tool. Quoting Rudolf Steiner, it might help you to recognize the sensitive ties that there are between your soul and the world it belongs to, giving you a feeling of "oneness" with life in Nature and thereafter reaching a strong experience of "meeting yourself".
